Castle tourism in Toyama Prefecture

Toyama, along the Sea of Japan, is famous for the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, one of the world's leading mountain sightseeing routes that starts from Nagano. The sightseeing water release from Kurobe Dam, the tallest in Japan, is quite impressive. You can also enjoy a variety of scenic spots such as Daikanbo, Murodo, Midagahara, and Bijodaira. From spring to early summer, the ``Yuki Otani Walk'' is recommended.
