Tsuruga Castle, the symbol of Aizu
A must-see spot

Tsuruga Castle is an impregnable castle that withstood the fierce battles of the Boshin War. It is the only existing castle tower that uses red tiles, and its elegant appearance has many fans. It is also known as a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing, but you can enjoy wonderful scenery no matter when you go, whether it's the fresh greenery in summer, the autumn leaves in autumn, or the snowy scenery in winter.
