Ozu Shrine, located on Mt. Kagura to the east of Ozu Castle, is an ancient shrine with a long history, having been built as the general guardian when Ozu Castle was built in 1331. The view of Ozu Castle and castle town from the top of the long stone stairs is beautiful and is known as a scenic spot. The main deities enshrined are Okuninushi-no-Mikoto (Okuni-sama) and Kojiro-no-shu-no-Mikoto (Ebisu-sama). Ehime Prefecture's only ``Toka Ebisu Festival'' will be held from January 9th to 11th, and many people visit in search of prosperous business and good fortune.
